Matt has spent his career working on complex public policy challenges and developing practical solutions that improve societal wellbeing. As a founder and director of Allen + Clarke, he's helped build Allen + Clarke into a successful business that delivers positive impact in a wide range of sectors. Matthew has worked for over 30 years in public health, particularly tobacco control, initiatives across the Pacific and Asia, bringing together diverse stakeholders to create lasting change.

His experience supporting inquiries such as the Government Inquiry into Mental Health and Addiction and chairing international working groups on tobacco control has made him a trusted advisor to government and organisations worldwide. When he's not leading health policy initiatives, Matthew recharges by hitting mountain bike trails, exploring New Zealand's tramping tracks, or diving into a good book.
