Briony believes that better health systems start with better evidence that captures the voices and experiences of the people who use them. She conducts complex reviews and evaluations of health and social policy programs through qualitative research methods to identify what's working, and what improvements are needed to effect meaningful change.

Drawing on her PhD in public health and aged care, and a decade of experience working with stakeholders across academic, government, and private sectors, she specialises in building a strong evidence base to inform policy decisions, and supporting translation of research findings into practical outcomes for the community. Her technical expertise in research and evaluation methods, and subject matter expertise in aged care quality, safety, and injury prevention helps organisations formulate effective responses to a range of contemporary health and social challenges.  

Outside of work, Briony recharges by travelling and making memories with her family, or getting lost in a good book, movie, or podcast.
